Colonial Wireless Association

Steve Bates, president

serving Concord, Massachusetts and surrounding towns

The Colonial Wireless Association (CW) is open to everyone, amateur radio operators and others alike.

CWA meets the 4th Wednesday of each month (see dates below), usually at Concord Carlisle High School (500 Walden Street) from 7:30 - 10 PM. Anyone is welcome to attend. Best to call or email to confirm location. The club does not meet in July or August, and combines the November and December meetings into a single one in early December, to avoid the holidays.

The two repeaters operated by Colonial Wireless are:

.       2 meters: 145.11 (-) (PL 110.9)

.       70 cm:   447.575 (-) (PL 110.9)

UPCOMING MEETING DATES (the first of the fall season):

WEDNESDAY, September 28, 2011

In addition to the usual announcements and other business at this first meeting, we will be treated to a presentation on the RITCHIE-1 high altitude balloon project, successfully carried out earlier this year at The Rochester Institute of Technology by our speakers:

Brent Salmi, KB1LQD and Bryce Salmi, KB1LQC

Everyone, CWA members and others alike, are welcome!
