HTThe Colonial Wireless Association (CW) is open to everyone, amateur radio operators and others alike.

CW meets the 4th Wednesday of each month (see dates below), usually at Concord Carlisle High School (500 Walden Street) from 7:30 - 10 PM. Anyone is welcome to attend. Best to call or email to confirm location. The club does not meet in July or August.

Two repeaters are operated by Colonial Wireless. They are:

  • 2 meters: 145.11 (-) (PL 110.9)
  • 440 Mhz: 447.575 (-) (PL 110.9)

UPCOMING MEETING DATES:

WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 24, 6:30 PM: A kick-off social evening at Chang-An's restaurant in Concord, at please let Fred Harrington or Gorden Pettingil know if you will be coming, so appropriate reservations can be made.

WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 22, 7:30 PM: Steve Bates, K1SLB, will speak on proper grounding procedures for hamshacks and towers. This might be a life-saving event!

NO NOVEMBER MEETING

WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 3, 7:30 PM: Dave, AA6YQ, will speak on digital modes.


NEXT HAM RADIO LICENSE CLASS OFFERED - October, 2008 Evenings of Tuesday and Thursday, October 14, 16, 21, 23 (licensing exam on the 23rd). Contact Fred Harrington for info.
